The Yellow and Red Trains of the Pyrenees

The route takes you through stunning mountain landscapes, including deep valleys and gorges, over bridges and viaducts, and through tunnels. Some of the most memorable sights include the Fort Liberia, a 17th-century fortress perched high on a hill, and the Gorges de la Frau, a spectacular canyon with steep walls rising over 200 meters.

The Red Train journey of 60 kilometres takes around two hours. The route passes through the Fontpedrouse Gorge, the Col de la Perche, and the Col de la Llose.
