Best of Western USA with Los Angeles Pre-Tour
Spend four nights in Los Angeles, taking in Hollywood and this city’s art and culture, before visiting the best scenic wonders of Western America. Hollywood, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Yosemite National Park and San Francisco, this tour visits some of America’s best-known places! Starting with a leisurely couple of days in LA, where you can explore the city at your own pace and discover its array of art galleries, museums, restaurants and upmarket boutiques. On day 3 join main Best of the West tour group and together we’ll walk along star studded pavements, before heading through the desert to Arizona. We’ll continue to the Grand Canyon, a must-see site, which you could opt to take a helicopter flight over. We’ll then travel along the legendary Route 66 to the bright lights of Las Vegas, which looks like a mirage in the desert as the lights begin to appear as you draw closer. Taking in the spectacular natural beauty of Yosemite National Park is next, where you’ll have time to explore. Finally, we’ll travel across the Golden Gate Bridge and visit the coastal city of San Francisco.
